Process of booking and completing your portrait

1 Book your portrait

Get in touch with me via the contact form or via email to let me know what size and number of subjects you would like and the reference photo(s) you would like to be used. You can always send me more then one reference photo if you are not sure which reference picture you want to use for the portrait.

2 Payment process

A deposit upfront of 150€ is necessary for booking your place in the waiting list. The deposit is non refundable as you are booking a space in my calendar that could be used by someone else. After booking, you can provide me with the photos and description necessary for the creation of the portrait. I accept payment via bank transfer and Paypal.

3 Photo references

I will need some photos of the subject you wish to have a portrait of, this could be a dog, a cat, a horse, a person, a bird etc. Or a combination of many. Different photos from different perspectives will help hugely to get an idea of how the subject looks. Photos should be if possible not too close, not too far from and for a portrait of more subjects if possible photos at the same level. High quality photos are appreciated but not absolutely necessary, I have worked using low quality photos many times. If you don’t have many photos of the subject, or you are not sure of what to send just sent what you have and I will find a way to work with the photos which you provide.

4 The making of the portrait.

Once your payment has been received, you'll be added to my waiting list. i'll keep you informed about your place in line and any estimated wait times. When it's your turn, i'll let you know when i begin with your portrait. The duration of the process depends on factors such as the number of pets and the chosen size.

5 shipping the portrait

Once the portrait is ready, I will send you a photo of the final result. If you are satisfied with the result and have paid the remaining amount, I will send the portrait. The shipping time varies depending on your location and the season. Shipping to the United States typically takes 5-7 days with FedEx. For all international shipments, I use FedEx. Shipping within Belgium takes about 3 days with Bpost. Shipping to the Netherlands is handled via PostNL and usually takes 3-5 days.
